Driver training

This training offers practical driver training according to the recommendations of the Swedish Work Environment Authority and is intended for drivers of service and company cars. The training is aimed at companies that systematically work with traffic safety as part of their work environment efforts and that regularly train their drivers through theoretical courses in traffic safety but now need to complement with practical training to ensure a high level of traffic safety.

We practice straight braking with reaction time exercises, braking with evasive maneuvers, braking in curves, and finally skid driving on our skid track. The practical driver training is a half-day course, and we conclude by summarizing the day before all participants receive their course certificates.

How it works

Knowledge of driving position and steering grip Purpose: Before driving, we show how to sit correctly in the car and the importance of adjusting the steering wheel and using the car's seat belt. We teach steering grip and the technique to use during an evasive maneuver.

Straight braking with distance assessment Purpose: To become aware of the impact of speed on the braking distance on the current surface and to brake correctly in a panic situation.

Braking with evasive maneuver Purpose: To sit, look, and steer correctly and to gain knowledge of how a modern car behaves during a sharp maneuver on the current surface. Become aware of how you react and act in a difficult traffic situation and learn to understand the importance of speed for traffic safety and to use the car's modern safety systems correctly.

Braking in curves Purpose: To experience and understand how speed and steering affect lateral stability and braking distance.

Skid driving on skid track Purpose: To sit, look, and steer correctly and to gain knowledge of how a modern car behaves during a sharp maneuver on slippery surfaces simulated on our skid track. Become aware of how you react and act in a difficult traffic situation on winter roads.
